Our assignments and our ways of working aim for long-term sustainability. This results in lower loads on the environment and social systems. Not least with regards to climate change. Seven of our nine consultants own cars. Four of these are eco-friendly cars. The others plan buy eco-friendly cars when they replace their current car. Whenever we have to use cars in our work, we hire an eco-friendly one. When travelling by taxi we always order an eco-friendly taxi. We avoid air travel wherever possible. When travelling within Stockholm, bicycles and public transport are the transport methods of choice. We avoid printing documents wherever possible. All printing is done on environmentally sound paper. Printed material and other purchases are based on the most environmentally sound choice wherever possible. The coffee and other consumables we purchase have the KRAV ecolabel. Where possible, consumables are also fairly traded. We buy our fruit from Ekolådan (supplier of organic products) and we compost our food waste. We recycle paper, plastic and packaging. We often work from home, which reduces our travel. We use telephone and internet solutions for many of our internal and customer meetings. We offset the emissions of greenhouse gases from our operations through planting trees. This leads to environment improvements and positive social and economic consequences for the small-scale farmers involved in the projects in Africa and Mexico. The company's liquidity is placed with Ekobanken. In this way, the capital is used by the bank to fund loans to environmentally and socially beneficial initiatives. |
