Vision & Action PDF Print
A vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is but a waste of time.

The step from defining a company's strategic sustainability issues to giving staff a common perception of what sustainability work is about can be a large one. But a one day seminar with 'Vision & Action' can give your business a common platform from which to rapidly work forwards to develop concrete actions. 'Vision & Action' also helps to build commitment because all participants at the seminar are involved and learn the importance of the final product.

It may be a case of getting started with sustainability work, or it may be about taking the next step towards more ambitious targets – either way a systematic process is vital for success.

'Vision & Action' can be of great help. Through a workshop format, management and/or other staff develop a structure for what they want to achieve (visions and goals) and what is needed to achieve them (actions). The same method also works well when applied to development of an active environmental, ethical or sustainability policy for a company.

U&W [you&we] arranges the programme, tools and structure, but the work and the results achieved come from those participating. The workshop itself lasts a whole day. Through the workshop processes, the vision, goals and action plan are developed. Sustainability work becomes clearer and more tangible, at the same time as responsibility is shared amongst many hands. When the workshop is over, U&W [you&we] summarise the day in a summary document.

The 'Vision & Action' workshop can be implemented on different organisational levels within the company. Our experience is that the best results are achieved when the management group does the workshop first. From their framework, the company can continue to develop further the ideas into more concrete results.

Peter Wrenfelt and Göran Wiklund will happily tell you more about this work.
